At CES 2025, NVIDIA introduced its RTX 50 series graphics cards and unveiled Reflex 2, a next-generation low-latency technology. Reflex 2 enables the GPU to obtain the latest mouse movement coordinates directly from the CPU and synchronize them with the game display in real time. NVIDIA claims that this results in a 75% reduction in latency compared to Reflex 1, which primarily achieved lower latency by simplifying the CPU rendering queue.

While NVIDIA did not specify which GPUs support Reflex 2 at launch, information from the company’s latest developer manual suggests that the technology is currently exclusive to the RTX 50 series. Users must also update their graphics drivers to version 570 or later. Owners of older GPUs, such as the RTX 20, 30, and 40 series, may need to wait for further updates.

As of now, no games officially support Reflex 2. However, NVIDIA has confirmed that The Finals and Valorant will receive support for the technology in the future.
