Dell Technology Group (Dell) is reportedly strengthening its strategic cooperation with NVIDIA to facilitate the efficient adoption of AI technology by enterprises. As part of this collaboration, Dell plans to expand its Dell GenAI end-to-end solution portfolio, which includes Dell Data Lakehouse and Dell PowerScale. These enhancements aim to help customers accelerate the integration of their data, artificial intelligence tools, and on-premises infrastructure, ultimately maximizing their return on investment in GenAI.

Jensen Huang, the founder and CEO of NVIDIA, expressed confidence in Dell's ability to build large-scale end-to-end systems for enterprises. By joining forces, Dell and NVIDIA aim to provide enterprises with a broader range of choices in leveraging GenAI, empowering them to extract the maximum value from their data. This partnership builds upon the long-standing cooperative relationship between NVIDIA and Dell in the technology field.

According to reports, AI has become a significant focus for Dell, as evidenced by the company's recent fourth quarter and full-year performance report for fiscal year 2024. Dell's stock price surged by over 38% during the session, reaching an all-time high, largely driven by the impact of AI technology.

Jeff Clarke, the vice chairman and chief operating officer of Dell Technologies, highlighted the strong momentum of AI-optimized servers, with order volume increasing by nearly 40% sequentially. Dell's backlog also nearly doubled, and the sales for the fiscal year reached $2.9 billion. Clarke emphasized Dell's confidence in its unique position to assist customers in building generative AI solutions that address their performance, cost, and security requirements.

According to IDC, global spending on AI solutions is projected to exceed $500 billion by 2027. Furthermore, most companies are expected to shift their technology investment focus towards AI implementation and the application of AI-enhanced products and services.
