The Samsung Galaxy S23 FE smartphone has finally been officially launched. The device offers two processor options: Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 for the US market and Exynos 2200 for the global market, with prices starting at $599.
Continuing the design language of the Galaxy S23, this new phone comes in five color options: cream, graphite, indigo, purple, and orange. It features a 6.4-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 2340 x 1080 and supports a high refresh rate of 120Hz. The screen is protected by Gorilla Glass Victus and is accompanied by a metal frame.
In terms of performance, the Galaxy S23 FE is equipped with either the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor (for the US market) or the Exynos 2200 processor (for the global market). It offers 8GB of RAM and comes with storage options of either 128GB or 256GB. Samsung guarantees four major operating system updates and five years of security patches for this device.
The phone boasts a triple rear camera setup, consisting of a 50MP main camera (with ƒ1.8 aperture and OIS), a 12MP ultra-wide-angle camera (with ƒ2.2 aperture and 123°FoV), and an 8MP telephoto camera (with ƒ2.4 aperture and 3x optical zoom). On the front, there is a 10MP single camera (with ƒ2.4 aperture) for selfies.
Other notable features of the Galaxy S23 FE include a built-in 4500mAh battery that supports 25W wired charging, 15W wireless charging, and reverse wireless charging. It should be noted that the charger is not included in the box. Additionally, the device supports WiFi-6E, Bluetooth 5.3, IP68 dust and water resistance, NFC, and other functions.
The official launch date for the Samsung Galaxy S23 FE is set for October 26. The 8GB+128GB version will be available in the United States for $599, while the price of the 256GB version has not yet been announced.
